๐ค Nat Fyfe's season is officially over after the Fremantle skipper underwent shoulder surgery in Melbourne, while goalsneak Michael Walters is highly unlikely to play again this year.
Fyfe dislocated his right shoulder in the round 12 loss to the Western Bulldogs on June 6, but was keen to delay surgery until after the season in a bid to be part of his team's finals push.
However, those surgery plans were brought forward to this week after Fyfe's right shoulder dislocated again during Sunday's 40-point loss to Sydney.

โ Sydney superstar Lance Franklin has overturned his one-match suspension for striking and will be available for Saturday night's clash against Essendon at the Gabba.
The decision is a major win for the Swans in their late-season push for a top-four finish while also giving Franklin the best possible chance to kick the 17 goals he needs to reach the 1000-goal milestone this season. (AFL)

๐ค Shaun Johnson will be out for up to eight weeks with a hamstring injury, leaving his Cronulla career hanging by a thread. (NRL)

๐ฅ She was joined on day four by surfer Owen Wright who took out bronze after narrowly missing out at a shot at gold.
๐ฅ Australia also added bronze in the menโs 4x100 relay thanks to an astonishing final leg from Rio gold medallist Kyle Chalmers.
๐ฅ Emma McKeon added to her medal swag, meanwhile, with bronze in the 100m butterfly.
๐ช Australia sits seventh on the ladder, with three gold and nine total medals.

โฝ๏ธ A disciplined and resolute performance from the Matildas earned them a valuable point in a goalless draw against heavyweights USA โ and assured their place in the knockout stages of the Olympic. Next up Great Britain.
๐ Four-time Olympic gold medallist Simone Biles said "I have to focus on my mental health" after pulling out of the women's gymnastics team final.
The American left the arena after the vault, but later returned to support her team-mates as they claimed silver behind the Russian Olympic Committee.
๐ Manchester United have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign defender Raphael Varane.
It is understood the clubs have agreed an initial fee of ยฃ34m, which could rise to ยฃ42m, and that Varane, 28, has agreed terms on a four-year contract with the option for another 12 months.
