Scorchers bt Renegades: Chris Jordan stole the show on Saturday night at Perth Stadium as the home side defeated the reigning champions by 11 runs.

Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Thunder: Thunder were 40-1 chasing 162 to win when the match was called off on Saturday and will split the points.
Brisbane Heat bt Sydney Sixers: Chris Lynn has silenced the doubters at the SCG, bursting back into form with a whopping 11 sixes on his way to 94 runs off 35 balls at an outrageous strike rate of 268.57.

Melbourne Stars bt Hobart Hurricanes: Haris Rauf starred as the Melbourne Stars made it back-to-back wins to begin their Big Bash League campaign with a thrashing of the Hobart Hurricanes.
After clearing the thousand point barrier in the 1st round, we've had a SuperCoach nightmare in round 2 with a measly 378pts.
Round 3 starts today with Adelaide Strikers v Perth Scorchers.
⚽️ Football
Central Coast have breathed life into their A-League season with an upset 2-1 win against fifth-placed Adelaide United on Sunday night.
There were two draws; Western Sydney 1-1 Western United and Wellington Phoenix 2-2 Sydney fc (who remain 5pts clear).
Perth Glory made it 3 on the spin beating Newcastle Jets 6-2 to move up to 4th in the league.

Roberto Firmino clinched Liverpool’s first Club World Cup title on Saturday, scoring in extra time to seal a 1-0 victory in the final over Flamengo.
Lazio have just beaten Juventus 3-1 in the final of the SuperCoppa Italiana
Liverpool remain 10pts clear at the top of the English Premier League and play 2nd placed Leicester next.

🥊 Boxing: Fans and commentators have been left in awe after rising heavyweight contender Daniel Dubois landed one of the nastiest punches this year. (news.com.au)

The Bulldogs have received a boost ahead of the Christmas break with captain Josh Jackson committing his future to the club after signing a contract extension until 2023. (foxsports)

Former South Sydney forward Zane Musgrove has been signed by the Wests Tigers on a two-year deal after the club had his registration conditionally approved by the NRL.
Musgrove has not played in the NRL since making the last of his 27 appearances for the Rabbitohs in 2017 due to injuries and off-field incidents - he was found guilty in October of the indecent assault of a woman at a hotel in Sydney’s eastern suburbs from an incident in 2018.

Adam Scott claims Australian PGA crown for first time since 2013

Adam Scott has broken a three-year drought to clench his first tournament win since 2016 and his first Australian PGA crown since 2013.
The 6.0 favourite won by 2 shots in front of a home crowd and completed a solid year and lifted him from 18th to 13th on the world rankings.

The B.J. McLachlan Stakes will play a significant role as usual in deciding who claims outright favouritism in this year’s Magic Million Classic with King’s Legacy, Blondeau and Every Rose on a collision course.

Team Snowden are hoping to boost their Magic Millions 2YO Classic stocks when King’s Legacy runs in Saturday’s B.J. McLachlan Stakes at Eagle Farm.
Another two races worth $1 million or more added to next year’s Winter Carnival. Suddenly, the winter has gone from just the one race worth seven figures (Stradbroke) in 2019 to five 12 months later.
