🏆 NRLW Grand Final: The Chooks ran over the top of St George Illawarra in the second half to win 16-4 at Moreton Daily Stadium.

It was the first grand final to not feature the Broncos in NRLW history. Brisbane had won all three titles contested prior to Sunday.

🏆 AFLW Grand Final: Just in case there was any lingering doubt, Adelaide has firmly cemented its claim as the first dynasty of the NAB AFLW competition, defeating Melbourne by 13 points to win its third premiership.

🏎 Charles Leclerc took a dominant victory in the Australian Grand Prix to move into a commanding position in the World Championship.

The Ferrari driver was in total control of the race when his main rival Max Verstappen retired with a technical failure on his Red Bull at two-thirds distance.

Verstappen is 46 points - almost two clear wins - behind Leclerc after just three races of the season, in two of which the Red Bull has failed to finish.

Red Bull's Sergio Perez was second after winning battles with Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.

❤️ Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins has died aged 24 after being hit by a vehicle.

Florida Highway Patrol said Haskins had been walking on a highway in Fort Lauderdale "for unknown reasons" and had been attempting to cross when he was hit by a dump truck.

A standout player at Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes), where he kept out Joe Burrow, Haskins was selected by Washington as the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.
