π Best Fantasy Sports Forfeits
G'day sports fans,
Classic quote: "Tell him he is John Coleman and send him back on" - Jack Dyer, when told by medical staff that a concussed player 'did not know who he is'

The best loser's punishments for your Fantasy league

McDonald's challenge - Loser is sentenced to 24 hours at a McDonald's, but for every cheeseburger you eat one hour is reduced from your sentence. Depending on your appetite, you are probably looking at 12-16 burgers in 8-12 hours.
Public shaming - Plenty of options here, but a common one is the loser must stand on a busy street corner with a sign saying 'I suck at AFL Fantasy' or something similar.
Fancy Dress - The loser must wear a fancy dress costume (chosen by the winner) for a day/night out.
New hairdo - Loser must get their hair bleached, dyed, perm or shaved bald.
Busk it up - Loser must sing, dance or play an instrument for an hour at location that will get plenty of foot traffic.
Anyone have any good ones or photo evidence of ones you or your mates has had to do?

T20 Series Wrap
Fresh from a series defeat and with the T20 World Cup in India on the horizon, what do we know?
Aaron Finch will be captain at the World Cup: with scores of 69, 79no and 36 to become Australia's leading run-scorer in T20 cricket.
World Cup keeper is wide open: Both Matthew Wade and Josh Philippe showed positive signs in this series but neither were able to dominate the Kiwis. With Carey making runs (below), he's a real chance of jumping ahead of them both.
Australia still struggle against top quality spin: Ahead of a World Cup in India later this year, it would be of some concern for the Australians that while their spinners impressed with the ball, their batters struggled to negate the influence of New Zealand's slow bowlers.
1st T20: New Zealand won by 53 runs
2nd T20: New Zealand won by four runs
3rd T20: Australia won by 64 runs
4th T20: Australia won by 50 runs
5th T20: New Zealand won by seven wickets
Sheffield Shield
Green sets more records in march towards superstardom: Western Australian pushes on to 251 in Gabba run-fest, recording the seventh-highest Sheffield Shield score by a player 21-years-old or younger. (report)
Stumps: Queensland trail Western Australia by 275 runs with 9 wickets remaining.
Carey strengthens claims as Test keeper-in-waiting: Redbacks gloveman's 125 puts hosts in driver's seat against Marsh Sheffield Shield heavyweights NSW. (report)
Stumps: New South Wales trail South Australia by 305 runs with 6 wickets remaining.
Gritty Doran borrows Paine's pads, but makes MCG his own: Only told Friday morning he would be taking the gloves, Jake Doran has been unencumbered by the extra workload in crafting what he labelled the best knock of his career. (report)
Stumps: Victoria need 245 runs to win.

π NRL
π° The NZ Warriors have been forced to extend their stay in Australia until June 21 after a resurgence in COVID-19 cases in New Zealand.
NZ based members are not renewing because, well, they're not going to see their team.
"We will be going to knock on the NRL's door at some stage because it has really impacted on our financial position in the short, mid and long term". (nine)

A premiership could be just seven months away but for some clubs that elusive title feels a long way off after extended title droughts.

Lions reject Australia's tour hosting bid
The British and Irish Lions have declined Australia's offer to host their rugby union series against world champions South Africa.
A board meeting on Friday made the decision due to the lack of financial certainty over the finance of Rugby Australia staging the eight-game tour, which culminates in a three-Test series against the Springboks.
Rugby Australia made the offer in January with the Lions' tour to South Africa in major doubt due the widespread COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
A major selling point was being able to play in front of big crowds in Australia, with RA reportedly happy for South Africa and the Lions to share the profits while they covered costs.
