🇦🇺 North Melbourne defender Griffin Logue and Carlton winger Blake Acres both face one-match suspensions for high bumps in the opening month of their first seasons at new AFL clubs.

The former Fremantle players were both charged with rough conduct over separate incidents from their respective round-three matches, as was Adelaide's Luke Pedlar.

🐴 A rival trainer best summed up the freakish superstar that is Amelia's Jewel after the Group 1 winner returned to racing with a dazzling romp in Perth.

Amelia's Jewel toyed with her opposition with an electric late turn of foot to score the Group 3 Roma Cup over 1100m on Saturday, after previously being seen at 1800m winning the Group 1 Northerly Stakes in December.

She left runner-up Red Can Man in her wake in the Roma Cup, prompting Red Can Man's trainer Steve Wolfe to say that Amelia's Jewel could be virtually unbeatable in the $4m The Quokka slot race on April 15.

"The only thing that beats her (Amelia's Jewel) is bad luck and if I had one in Melbourne coming over, I would leave it there," Wolfe said on Sky Thoroughbred Central.

"She's the best filly in Australia."

Under FIA regulations, the finishing positions were taken from the last restart, with the cars then having to complete a final lap behind the safety car.
