π₯ Australia created Olympic Games history, winning FOUR gold medals for its biggest ever single-day haul.
After Emma McKeon led the golden girlsβ charge in the pool, Logan Martin won the first gold medal in the history of BMX Freestyle.
Then all Matt Wearn needed to do to seal gold in the menβs laser sailing was simply turn up for the final race β such as the magnitude of his commanding lead.
He duly obliged, and Australiaβs record day was complete.
The national team is poised for its biggest Olympics gold medal haul and the best may be yet to come.
