The Warwick Farm trainer famously coined the phrase WBS (Worldโ€™s Best Sprinter) after Terravista won the Group One Darley Classic at Flemington in 2014.

And Pride is getting as excited about Eduardo. โ€œI think heโ€™s the best sprinter in Australia and he might be the best sprinter in the world,โ€ Pride said.

Melbourne City turned a one-goal deficit into a 4-1 advantage to clinch a club-record sixth consecutive A-League victory, over Western Sydney Wanderers.

A contest between first and last on the A-League table ended all square, after Central Coast Mariners drew 1-1 with Melbourne Victory.

A two-goal cushion proved enough to help ten-man Perth Glory outlast a Newcastle Jets comeback to clinch a 2-1 victory.

A Denis Genreau goal was the difference in Wollongong as Macarthur overcame Wellington Phoenix by the odd goal (1-0).

Craig Goodwin put Adelaide in front from the penalty spot but it was 20-year-old goalkeeper Joe Gauci who tied up the three points against Sydney FC. (1-0)

Gardner finished on 73 from 48 deliveries, as she hit six boundaries and three sixes.

Together with Ellyse Perry, who finished 23 not out in her return to the Australian team after more than a year out because of injury, the duo completed the job with two overs to go.

Australians James Duckworth and Alexei Popyrin have caused massive upsets at the Miami Open in the second round.

World No. 104 James Duckworth defeated world No. 13 David Goffin 6-3 6-1 in the biggest victory of his career in just under 80 minutes. While Popyrin, coming off his first ATP Tour crown at the Singapore Tennis Open, overcame 30th seed American Reilly Opelka 6-4 6-2.

"All of the hard work I've put in the pre-season is paying off, 11 wins in 14 matches," Popyrin told ATPTour.com. "I really thought I was consistent during the match. Putting in lots of returns is difficult when Reilly is firing down 230 km/h bombs."

๐Ÿฆ˜ Wallabies head coach Dave Rennie has announced his 40-man squad ahead of their three-day training camp on the Gold Coast next month.

There are 14 uncapped players in the group, including Australian Sevens representative Tim Anstee, former Junior Wallabies hooker Lachlan Lonergan and veteran David Porecki.

The average age of the squad is just 25 and is comprised of 14 Brumbies, 12 Reds, seven Melbourne Rebels, four Waratahs and three members of the Western Force.

Western Force recruit Sitaleki Timani is set to return to the national fold after an eight-year absence, with the 34-year-old named in a Wallabies squad for the first time since the 2013 year-end tour.
