🥇 ICYMI: The 2026 Commonwealth Games are in doubt after the Australian state of Victoria cancelled its plans to host due to budget blowouts.
The premier said the projected cost had now tripled and become "well and truly too much" for the state to bear.
CGF called the decision "hugely disappointing" and said it is "committed to finding a solution".
🦘 North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson has conceded it may be "disrespectful" if he were to coach again this year, despite being welcomed back to Arden Street on Tuesday.

Off the tee, Royal Liverpool is wide open and exposed to the elements. In true links fashion, there is no water in play but well-placed bunkers will prevent golfers from taking a bomb-and-gouge approach.

🚴🏻 Jonas Vingegaard tightened his grip on the yellow jersey in the Tour de France after he blew away Tadej Pogacar in the individual time trial.
Vingegaard increased his overall lead over Slovenian Pogacar to one minute and 48 seconds. Unless something pretty major happens in the last few days, Vingegaard is looking at back-to-back Tour victories.

🏏 England spinner Moeen Ali wants to find the fan who helped him cure the cut finger that was affecting his bowling at the beginning of the Ashes series.
Moeen, 36, revealed over the weekend an NHS worker had sent him a gel made of honey that healed the wound. He wants to write back to her, but has misplaced the original letter.
"I can't remember who it is," Moeen told BBC Sport. "If the lady sees this, please get in contact because I really want to write back to say thank you."
