• A Paris win would make them the 23rd side to win it.

A-League Elimination Finals

Wellington Phoenix (2.40)v Perth Glory (2.60): Perth are the only side Wellington have beaten since the lock down. For Wellington, striker Hooper and key defender Tim Payne have been ruled out of the finals. They are still narrow favourites to beat out-of-sorts Perth. Expect a low scoring affair.

Brisbane Roar (2.45) v Western United (2.55): The teams split their two regular season clashes. Western United’s 2-0 won in Brisbane in Week 10, while Mirza Muratovic’s 61st-minute strike saw Brisbane prevail 1-0 in Ballarat.

This should be a gripping affair and the Roar will be difficult to break down. But Western United’s more potent attack could win the day.

Globetrotter starts international campaign in Winx Stakes

Multiple Group I winner Con Te Partiro kicks off her spring campaign on Saturday - a preparation that could see her represent Australia at the Breeders Cup in November.

The former US galloper that won the Sandringham Handicap during the 2017 Royal Ascot meeting, has been a work in progress since arriving in Australia during the early part of 2019.

Con Te Partiro hasn’t been the easiest horse to deal with at Tulloch Lodge but showed what she’s capable of during the autumn, claiming a Group I double of the Coolmore Classic and Queen Of The Turf in the space of three runs.

The cracks are starting to show for the Lakers. They are definitely missing Rajon Rondo and the defense of Avery Bradley. For them to bounce back into the series, their perimeter defence needs to improve, if they're to avoid a repeat of the 100-93 score in the first game.

🏀 Australian NBA star Joe Ingles is off to his best ever start in the NBA playoffs as his Utah Jazz level up their series with the Denver Nuggets.

Ingles added 18 points for the Jazz who thumped the Nuggets 124-105, levelling the best of seven series to 1-1.

The 32-year-old nailed four three-pointers and added six assists and two rebounds.

🏀 LaMelo Ball’s Knicks NBA draft dream about to be decided

It's been reported Ball’s preference is New York and his handlers are not averse to steering him there. Father Lavar Ball already stated the Knicks are the top choice. 6th seed Knicks have a 9% chance of winning the lottery and nearly 30% chance of being Top 3, where the former Illawarra Hawks Ball is expected to be.
