🇦🇺 Richmond's Nathan Broad has been slapped with a four-game AFL ban for his tackle that left Adelaide's Patrick Parnell concussed.

Broad, who described his tackle as "sh--house", fronted the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday evening and pleaded guilty to his rough conduct charge. (AFL)

🏉 Nathan Cleary refuses to rule out rugby switch:"I have a great admiration and respect for union players, particularly growing up in New Zealand, it's so big over there," he said.

Cleary, 25, is contracted to the Panthers until the end of the 2027 season.

🏟 Rugby league boss Peter V'landys is prepared to take the NRL grand final to Melbourne this year, sending a warning to the NSW government to pay up for the event.

The NRL decider has been played in Sydney in all but one year since 1908 - when the 2021 grand final was moved to Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium due to COVID-19 restrictions.

V'landys threatened to move last year's decider before ultimately keeping it in Sydney, but said the NSW government would have "to get the cheque book out" to keep the grand final again this year.
