🏏 David Warner put Australia in control of the first Test against Pakistan in Perth with a brilliant 164.
Perth Stadium (day one):
Australia 346-5: Warner 164 (211), Jamal 2-63
Pakistan: Yet to bat
Warner, 37, starred on the opening day of what is his final series before retiring from Test cricket, with Australia ending 346-5.

Warner is now fifth on Australia's all-time Test run-scorers list after passing Matthew Hayden and Michael Clarke.
Warner and his fellow opener Usman Khawaja put on an opening stand of 126. Mitch Marsh (15) and Alex Carey (14) will resume on day two after Pakistan fought back in the final two sessions
Captain Pat Cummins says he wants even more runs tomorrow, meaning the Aussies won't declare overnight.
"You saw what it was – it was a nice little quiet shush," Warner, whose desire to have a farewell Test at his home SCG next month now appears a certainty, told reporters at stumps.
After being forced to tape up a message of support to all the lives lost in the Israel-Palestine conflict, Usman Khawaja opted to wear a black armband instead.
❤️ All-rounder Cameron Green has revealed that he has chronic kidney disease.
The 24-year-old was diagnosed with the condition at birth, with doctors telling his parents there was a chance he may not live beyond the age of 12.
Green has since gone on to play in all three formats for Australia and was in the squad for their recent World Cup win.
"I'm still trying to learn as much as I can about it," Green told Channel 7.
"Basically, my kidneys don't work as well as other people's and don't filter the blood very well.
"So I have got to keep my salt and my protein quite low, which isn't ideal as a cricketer but around games I can pick that protein intake back up because I spend so much of it out on the ground.
"It's just about finding the best ways to look after me."
Green said his kidney function is currently at about 60%, which puts him at stage two with stage five being the most severe.

🇦🇺 The AFL will make a rule change in 2024 in response to Collingwood premiership player Brayden Maynard's controversial bump on Melbourne midfielder Angus Brayshaw in the 2023 qualifying final.
If a player decides to smother and ends up contacting a player high, the league has confirmed it will suspend players, irrespective of their intention during the incident.
Maynard was cleared of any wrongdoing and spared a season-ending suspension after an attempt to smother left Brayshaw unconscious for several minutes during the Magpies' seven-point qualifying final victory, which eventually saw his side go on to win the grand final.
