Dizzy's induction for Marnus: Welcome to the 200 Club

Dear Marnus,

Congratulations on joining one of the most exclusive and privileged clubs in Australian sport – Australians With A Test Match Double Century.

You now rub shoulders with Australia's greatest batters, from Bradman to Harvey, Ponting to Perry, Brown to Border, Simpson to Smith and, of course, with me, Jason Gillespie.

The Fox Cricket commentary box was left in a fit of laughter after an unfortunate slip of the tongue from Mark Waugh.

Kerry O’Keeffe was dissecting Marnus Labuschagne’s batting action and how the toe of his bat faces the sky in his backswing.

“Just like a c**k,” Waugh said, before explaining how he was attempting to refer to his cocked wrists.

Host Mark Howard went on to show some similar blunders, such as colleague Brendon Julian accidently calling the Sir Frank Worrell trophy the “Sir Wank Worrell trophy” during a presentation. (foxsport)

Roosters bombshell: Don’t bother coming to training, Latrell

Latrell Mitchell’s chances of staying at the Sydney Roosters appear slimmer than ever after it was confirmed he wouldn’t return to training with the NRL club.

Mitchell was due to return to pre-season training on Monday for the first time since the club pulled an offer off the table for 2021 last November.

Latrell Mitchell is set to employ his third agent in eight months, as Wayne Bennett appears likely to make an offer of a one-year deal which will see the Roosters outcast join the Rabbitohs. (foxsports)
