π Demolition Jobs
G'day sports fans,
You'll see at the bottom of the mail, we've set up Sport Journal Club.
It's an opportunity for readers to club together and do some exciting stuff, first up is buying a share in a racehorse.
I've outlined the idea on our Facebook Page here. (rather than take up room in the newsletter) give the page a like while you're there ππ»
There'll be no hard sell, and there's no obligation to join. This awesome newsletter will continue to go out, as usual.
If you want to join us and other readers as we start our journey, just hit the 'become a member' button at the bottom of the mail. Cheers, Adam

π¦πΊ Round 6 Previews
Collingwood v Hawthorn: Collingwood are set to carry on without Jordan de Goey, while itβs worth noting the Hawks have won 12 of their last 13 games against the Pies.
Fremantle v St Kilda: The Saints can make it three in a row on Saturday afternoon as they look to further cement themselves in the top four picture with a win over the Dockers. The Total has also gone Under in Fremantleβs last three games at Metricon.
West Coast Eagles v Adelaide Crows: West Coast hasnβt won in Brisbane since 2018, while the last three games between these two clubs have all been decided by 12-points or less.
Melbourne Demons v Gold Coast Suns: A win here for the Gold Coast could be enough to vault them back inside the top four if results go their way, while the Dees are simply looking to distance themselves from the Crows after another disappointing loss last week against Richmond.

Essendon v North Melbourne: The Dons won an absolute thriller against North Melbourne this time last year, but theyβll be looking to make more of a statement this time around with a top-four spot up for grabs.
Port Adelaide v GWS Giants: After an unbeaten start to the season, Port Adelaide went down without so much as a whimper last week against the Lions at the Gabba.
GWS, meanwhile, made their winless start feel like a distant memory thanks to a convincing 34-point win over Hawthorn at home.
Richmond v Sydney Swans: Richmond travel north to Brisbane with a very understrength list following a range of injuries to several key players.
Carlton v Western Bulldog: The Bulldogs are easily one of the hottest teams in the competition right now as they shoot for four wins in a row on Sunday against the Blues.

π΄ Neasham garners high-powered support for move into solo training
Powerful racing and breeding operation Aquis has pledged to strongly support Annabel Neasham as she splits with the Ciaron Maher operation and goes out on her own.
Neasham had been leading Maher and Dave Eustaceβs Sydney operation in recent times after she originally linked with them after coming to Australia from the UK on a working holiday under Gai Waterhouse for six months.
There will now be a transition period where Neasham will continue working under the Maher-Eustace banner for six weeks before realising a dream and going out on her own next season. (racenet)

β½οΈ NSW grants Vic A-League teams exemption
FFA confirmed to the Sydney Morning Herald that the exemption had been granted, allowing Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City and Western United to cross the state border.
The teams have the all-clear to fly to Sydney assuming all players and staff return negative COVID19 tests.
Before the A-League season can resume all players and staff will have to undergo the mandatory 14 days of self-isolation. However, the exemption does allow the teams to train during that time.
This brings one stage of a very embarrassing saga for the A-League to an end, which saw the three Melbourne clubs attempt a last-minute dash across the border only to be prevented, while AFL clubs had reportedly flown out days prior.
