๐ Storm winger Xavier Coates clinched another game-changing try, securing Melbourne's 18-12 victory over the Roosters at Allianz Stadium.
Tied at 12-12 with six minutes left, Coates grabbed a loose ball and powered through three defenders to score, propelling the Storm to their ninth win in their last 10 matchups against the Roosters.

๐ฆ๐บ Aaron Naughton spearheaded a dominant Western Bulldogs performance, propelling them to a 60-point win over St Kilda on Thursday night.

๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Kaylee McKeown might have jumped the gun in ruling out the 400m individual medley from her Olympic plans in Paris.
The Queenslander dominated her competition for the second consecutive night at the Australian Open Championships on the Gold Coast. She clocked in at 4:28.22, surpassing Stephanie Rice's national record in the event, a record that had stood since 2008.
This marks the second time in 24 hours that McKeown has broken an Australian record previously held by Rice.
The backstroke sensation, who claimed gold in the 100m and 200m races in Tokyo, also outpaced Rice's time on the opening night of the meet in her preferred 200m individual medley, posting a time of 2:06.99.

Coming off an important win over the Cowboys, the Parramatta Eels (1.44) will look to make it two on the trot when they โhostโ the Dolphins (3.25) in Darwin. Wayne Bennettโs side is coming off its second loss of the season, that included an injury to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.
Each of the Dolphins' last seven night matches have gone UNDER the total match points line. (45.5pts)

Each coming off upset wins in Round 5, Adelaide (1.48) and Essendon (2.65) will meet at the Adelaide Oval on Friday night. The Crows overturned a 16-point final-quarter deficit to shock Carlton 100-98. Essendon beat the Bulldogs 96-67.
The Bombers were triumphant under the roof at Docklands in the single meeting between these teams last season, claiming a 115-97 victory to extend their winning streak against the Crows to six matches.
The underdog has covered the line in eight of Adelaide's last 10 night matches.(Essendon +13.5pts)
Rory Laird has recorded 27+ disposals in each of Adelaide's last nine matches against Essendon (exc. 2020 shortened matches).
Reds (1.44) Coach Les Kiss has rung the changes (largely forced) with several key members set to miss this game against the Highlanders (3.40) and the next few weeks as well through injury and suspension.
Despite going through a rebuild over the last few seasons, the Highlanders have a good record against the Reds, winning their last six meetings including a 35-30 epic in Dunedin last year in somewhat controversial fashion.
Each of the last 10 games in which the Queensland Reds have hosted the Highlanders have been decided by a margin of eight points or fewer on the day with the Reds winning seven of those 10 fixtures.

๐ Meg Lanning says that her relationship with food and exercise "spiralled" and led to her surprise international retirement.
Former captain Lanning, 32, retired in November 2023 after missing the summer's Ashes for medical reasons.
She said that she was running up to 90 kilometres a week and only eating two small meals a day.
"I was over-exercising and under-fuelling," Lanning told the Howie Games podcast.
"It sort of just spiralled and I was in denial, even though everyone kept telling me something wasn't quite right.
"I was not in a place to be able to go on tour and play cricket and give the commitment levels required for that Ashes series mentally and physically."
Lanning retired as one of the sport's most successful players and captains, leading her side to 50-over World Cup glory in 2022, four T20 titles and Commonwealth Games gold in 2022.
