๐ŸฅŠ Cronulla Sharks great turned boxer Paul Gallen has revealed he's signed a new contract for three more fights set to take place over the next 18 months.

Despite being urged by a host of boxing legends to retire following his gutsy TKO loss to Australian heavyweight champion Justis Huni in June, Gallen revealed he's set to go around at least one more time.

However, the 39-year-old has at least in part heeded the warnings of combat sports pundits, agreeing to only fight NRL stars eager to test their mettle in the ring.

"I've just locked in three (fights)," Gallen revealed on WWOS radio on 2GB.

Your I Am Invincible X Unequivocal filly did some pace work in company and was quite forward in her work which was great to see.

We will ask her to do a little sprint out at the end of the week and some barrier work but we are very happy with how she is going so far.

We will keep you updated on her progress.

๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Bizarre outcome in jockeyโ€™s head butt appeal: Queensland jockey Luke Tarrant had his disqualification for head butting a rival jockey quashed โ€“ but integrity officials say it will not change a thing.

Tarrant appealed his six-month disqualification for headbutting and verbally abusing Larry Cassidy at Doomben in April last year, and the matter has now been heard by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

QCAT quashed Tarrantโ€™s disqualification and amended the decision to a six-month suspension.
