❤️ Tributes have flowed for the inaugural Queensland State of Origin coach John McDonald after he died at the age of 79 on Wednesday.
As well as leaving an enormous legacy on the game as a player, coach and administrator McDonald was also a professional runner and nearly the world record for the 440 yards as well as winning the Gilgandra Gift and the 880 yards at the Bendigo Gift in 1966.
