🇦🇺 Adelaide and West Coast AFL clubs will adopt new names for the upcoming Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round, celebrating Indigenous culture and heritage.
Adelaide will become Kuwarna, and West Coast will be known as Waalitj Marawar.
These changes will occur during Rounds 10 and 11, following similar initiatives by Fremantle (Walyalup), Port Adelaide (Yartapuulti), and Melbourne (Naarm) in previous Sir Doug Nicholls Rounds.

🥊 Former UFC star Tyson Pedro's debut boxing match has been canceled due to a training injury. Pedro, 32, was set to face Kris Terzievski on a Stan Sport pay-per-view event next month. The bout, scheduled for June 12 at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion, was anticipated to be the headline fight. However, Pedro sustained a fractured elbow during sparring, leading to the cancellation of the match.

According to 9News Melbourne, discussions about this concept have been ongoing, with potential inclusion of football department staff as well. Four different businesses have reportedly proposed partnerships with the league for the lavish project.
🇦🇺 Suggestions of Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield returning to Adelaide by the end of 2024 have been dismissed.
Reports by Seven's Mitch Cleary hinted at a possible move back to his former club, the Crows, where Dangerfield started his AFL career before joining the Cats in 2015. Lawrence Frank, president of basketball operations, said the Clippers hope to retain both stars to continue playing alongside Kawhi Leonard.
George has a player option on the $48.8 million due next season and can become a free agent if he and the Clippers are unable to come to an agreement on an extension before June 30.
Harden will be an unrestricted free agent. The point guard could wait to see what happens with George first before figuring out his future with the Clippers.

🏀 San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has been named NBA Rookie of the Year.
The 20-year-old is the first Frenchman to win the award after averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, a league-high 3.6 blocked shots and 1.2 steals a game.
Wembanyama, the first pick in last year's draft, was the unanimous choice as he earned all 99 first-place votes.
He made 128 threes, becoming the first player in NBA history with 250 blocks and 100 3-pointers in the same season.
👊🏻 Jose Aldo says he could re-sign with the UFC after becoming a free agent on Saturday following his win over Jonathan Martinez in Brazil.
Aldo, 37, came out of retirement to see out the final fight on his contract at UFC 301 and, despite his age, immediately becomes one of the hottest free agents in the world.
Aldo confirmed the UFC have the right to match any offers he is made and said he was open to extending his 13-year stint with the MMA promotion.
