🏉 Canberra secured back-to-back wins for the first time in 2023, coming from behind to beat the Dragons 20-14 at GIO Stadium on Sunday.

In a contest that sprung to life in the second half, Raiders forward Hudson Young and young centre Matt Timoko crossed for tries in the final quarter to surge away from the Dragons, who then struck back late via Tautau Moga to get within reach.

🏉 Parramatta fended off a brief second half surge from the Bulldogs to record a comfortable 30-4 victory at CommBank Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

A double to Maika Sivo and captain's knock from Clint Gutherson helped the Eels to their third win of the season against a Bulldogs outfit who are becoming more depleted by the week.

🇦🇺 South Australia will host the AFL Gather Round for the next three seasons, the league has confirmed. Both the AFL and the South Australian government hailed it as a success.

In a statement, the AFL said all nine games had sold out and more than 220,000 people had attended the matches including 60,000 from interstate. (news)

🇦🇺 Zach Merrett has been charged with rough conduct by the MRO after his tackle on Tom Sparrow on Saturday afternoon, suspended for one-match.

🏏 Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary batter Sachin, made his Indian Premier League debut for Mumbai Indians in their five-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders.

Left-arm seamer Tendulkar conceded 17 runs in his two overs as Kolkata posted 185-6 following Venkatesh Iyer's superb 104 off just 51 balls.

Mumbai chased down their target of 186 with 14 balls to spare.

The Tendulkars are the first father-son duo to play in the IPL.

🏉 Leicester’s former England winger Chris Ashton became the first player to score 100 Premiership tries as Exeter conceded their record points tally in a top-flight match.
