π Glad to be Alive
G'day sports fans,
In light of Zuck going all Kim Jong-il on us, banning the sharing of news on Facebook.
I thought I'd revisit the N. Korean dictators greatest sporting achievements.
Did you know he excelled at golf and bowling?
It was reported on state media that, in his very first golf game in 1994, Kim finished an 18-hole round of golf at 38-under par - over the 7,700-yard championship course at Pyongyang. Kim was in a zone, recording five holes-in-one.
Another story had him bowling a perfect 300 in his first attempt at the sport.

A-League
Tonight: Adelaide (2.55) v Central Coast Mariners (2.60): Carl Veart's side return to Coopers Stadium to host the surging Mariners, who continued to defy expectations with a third win on the bounce secured in their last outing against Wellington Phoenix.
Tomorrow: Western United (2.35) v Macarthur FC (2.90): Western United was off last weekend and they have had a fortnight to contemplate blowing a lead and losing to the Mariners.
Conversely, Macarthur picked up seven points from its busy week, which was good enough to springboard them up to second on the A-League ladder.
Sydney FC (2.15) v Brisbane Roar (3.15): Itβs not quite desperation time for the Roar but their helter-skelter pace of play certainly looked like it caught up with them last week when they were kept scoreless in a loss to Macarthur and a draw with Newcastle.
Sydney is starting to play itself into form and have had two weeks to get ready for this match. It sounds like they will also be welcoming back Bobo.
Sunday's games: Melbourne Victory (2.45) v Newcastle Jets (2.75): Itβs fair to say that the Victory are in all sorts and have been second best in just about every match since their season began.
Wellington Phoenix (2.50) v Western Sydney Wanderers (2.60): Forced to play out of a makeshift home ground in Wollongong, the Nix have taken just four points from their six matches to date and were outclassed by the Mariners last weekend.

Top seed Novak Djokovic overcame stern resistance from Aslan Karatsev to reach the Australian Open final and end the Russian qualifier's remarkable run.
Despite the world number 114 causing moments of tension, Djokovic had enough quality to win 6-3 6-4 6-2.
The 33-year-old Serb won the final four games to finally shrug off Karatsev.
Djokovic, who is going for a record-extending ninth men's title in Melbourne, will face Daniil Medvedev or Stefanos Tsitsipas in Sunday's final.
Naomi Osaka is headed to the Australian Open final after a decisive (6-3, 6-4) victory against her idol Serena Williams, who was going for a record-tying 24th major title. Osaka will face Jennifer Brady in final.
Serena Williams left her news conference in tears after her semi-final defeat by Naomi Osaka. The defeat lead to questions over the 39-year-old's future.
She responded: "I don't know. If I ever say farewell, I wouldn't tell anyone."
Williams became tearful when asked a further question about her unforced errors against Osaka.
"I don't know. I'm done," she said, before leaving the room.

βIβm glad to be aliveβ
Group 1-winning jockey Jason Taylor feels he has cheated death and says he has been overwhelmed by support from the racing community after being crushed and kicked by a horse in a horror incident.
The popular Gold Coast jockey, who won the 2011 Stradbroke Handicap on Sincero, was seriously injured in the barriers at the Gold Coast races last Saturday after a horse he was riding stood in the air and flipped on top of him on the ground and then kicked him in the head.
βI am glad to be alive but I do think things could have gone the other way quite quickly.
βI remember the horse laying on top of me and thrashing and I do remember getting kicked in the head but my next memory was getting needles from the ambos."
