Super Rugby AU Semi-Final: Brumbies v Western Force: Canberra becomes the centre of the Super Rugby universe on Saturday night as the Brumbies and Force face off for a spot in next week’s Grand Final.

• Western Force have logged only two wins from their 11 previous away games against the Brumbies in Super Rugby (L9), the most recent of which came in Round 9, 2011 (27-19).

🗓 Hours after revealing a $27.1 million deficit at their AGM, and with the governing body losing so much money it even considered reverting to amateur status.

Rugby Australia has received some welcomed news with France confirming their three-Test series against the Wallabies in July.

The tour has taken a twist though, with the Wallabies to play three Tests in 11 days.

⚫️ New Zealand's 26 provincial unions have unanimously approved the sale of a 12.5 per cent stake in the commercial arm of New Zealand Rugby (NZR), including the All Blacks, to U.S. private equity firm Silver Lake.

The NZ$387.5m deal, which values NZR's commercial rights at $2.23bn still needs to be approved by the New Zealand Rugby Players' Association (NZRPA), who have expressed reservations about the deal.

🦘Rugby Australia chairman Hamish McLennan indicated Rugby Australia would follow suit.

“We have absolute alignment,” he said.
