π Tom Rogers destroyed the Melbourne Stars' batting line-up in a devastating response to cricket's latest 'Mankad' controversy, leading the Melbourne Renegades to a 33-run win in a heated KFC BBL derby.
Stars captain Adam Zampa lit the fuse at the MCG when he attempted to run out Rogers as the non-striker crept out of his crease.
A video review led to Rogers being given not out because Zampa's bowling arm had gone past its highest point before the leg-spinner reached back to knock the bails off. Given not out.
πΎ Aο»Ώustralia's United Cup hero Jason Kubler has revealed a heartwarming text exchange with Nick Kyrgios after the latter's withdrawal opened up a spot on the team.
Kubler took his place and has won both of his singles matches so far in the tournament. The 29-year-old helped Australia beat Spain in its final United Cup tie last night, beating Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in a singles leg.
Following his win, Kubler revealed his communication with Kyrgios after his tournament-opening win against Great Britain's Dan Evans.

The Buffalo Bills player, 24, fell to the ground after colliding with an opponent during the first quarter of a match against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He received on-field medical attention for more than 30 minutes before being taken to a local hospital.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the team said Hamlin is undergoing further testing and treatment and is currently sedated.
