Borussia Dortmund have signed highly rated striker Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg after meeting his 20m euro (£17.1m) buyout clause.

Gervonta Davis has claimed the vacant World Boxing Association World Lightweight Title with a 12th round knockout of Yuriorkis Gamboa, becoming a two-weight champion.

The protege of boxing great Floyd Mayweather, Davis was dominant throughout the fight with the all three judges handing him all but the seventh round of the fight.

After a straight left that had Gamboa on wobbly legs, Davis absorbed a left jab before finishing the fight with a savage uppercut.

While Davis was in another class to Gamboa, fans and professionals took aim at the 25-year-old champion. Calling it another lacklustre performance.
