🇦🇺 Melbourne's Lachie Hunter has been unsuccessful in his tribunal appeal on Tuesday night after being charged with forceful front-on contact following Melbourne's loss to Port Adelaide.

Peter Sterling's one and only game as captain of New South Wales nearly came undone before kick-off courtesy of a huge banner and a lunch buffet.
The infamous moment came in the 1987 series ahead of the historic fourth 'exhibition' match, which was held in Los Angeles.
“There’s this huge banner that says ‘Up the Blues’ and I’m feeling bulletproof.
“On the morning of the game, a young lady came up to me and said ‘good morning Peter, I made the banner that you’re going to run through, and I just wanted to tell you how to run through it.’
“The boys were about to have some lunch and I kind’ve fobbed her off…
“I hit the banner at top pace, and it was like a brick wall. The whole thing was held together by sticky tape except for this little corridor where she wanted to tell me to run through - there was no tape there.”
