Amazingly the American had a 10-shot lead going into the final day, but a mid-round slump saw him return a one-over-par 73 to win on 19 under.
The massive crowd at LIV Adelaide's party hole erupted when Chase Koepka hit a hole-in-one.
⛳️ Australian Lucas Herbert won the ISPS Handa Championship in Japan, pocketing AU$500k prize money.
Herbert and Aaron Cockerill of Canada finished on 15 under par as the contest was settled at the second extra hole.
⚽️ Ange Postecoglou appears closer than ever to a move to the English Premier League after being linked with the vacant Chelsea job.
The former Socceroos manager has been named in a report from The Guardian as one of three men on the shortlist for the Chelsea job alongside former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and Manchester City icon-turned Burnley manager Vincent Kompany.
