🗞 'He could revolutionise the game'

G'day sports fans,

Classic quote: "You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late."- Ray Graved

🗞 Fake News: Shout out to readers Aldo and David, who pulled me up on the oldest Australian Olympian (in the last issue).

It was actually Dressage rider Mary Hanna (61), in Rio. Overtaking the record set by equestrian rider and five-time Olympian Bill Roycroft back in 1976.

The oldest Olympic medalist is genarally considered to be Swedish shooter Oscar Swahn. He won a silver medal in 1920 when he was 72 years, 281 days old.

Tonight: MELBOURNE UNITED VS SOUTH EAST MELBOURNE PHOENIX

FRIDAY JUNE 11, 7:35PM (QUDOS BANK ARENA)

Dean Vickerman’s men roll into the postseason on the back of a three-game win streak, which includes a blowout victory over the Wildcats last week in Perth.
