Liverpool's unbeaten run comes to an end.

Liverpool's remarkable 3-0 defeat at Watford brought to an end a 44-game unbeaten run in the Premier League - just five games short of Arsenal's top-flight record.
It also meant they failed to secure an English league record 19th consecutive win, finishing their run on 18 - joint with Manchester City's landmark.
Jurgen Klopp's side were the third Premier League team to manage more than a year without losing. Arsenal - whose 49 games included the entire 2003-04 season - and Chelsea (from October 2004 to November 2005) are the others.

EPL pre-season could be coming to Queensland.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace could be set to head down under with the Premier League sides in negotiations to play the Brisbane Roar in Queensland this July.
It is believed the pre-season tournament will consist of three games taking place at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium and the newly constructed Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.

Charity Shield
Rabbitohs ran riot in second half to continue Charity Shield dominance. Latrell Mitchell took 55 seconds to make an impact for his new club but was otherwise kept in cotton wool as South Sydney retained the Charity Shield for an eighth straight year with a 26-12 victory over St George Illawarra in Mudgee. It’s Only Pre-season, But... the AFL is trembling over these new Giants - Week 2 Marsh Community Series wrap

Coronavirus threatens Tokyo Olympics

With the Summer Olympics scheduled to open in Tokyo in less than five months, organizers are grappling with the coronavirus outbreak — and facing questions about whether the Games could be moved, postponed or even canceled.
Longtime International Olympic Committee member Dick Pound (Can't be his real name?) estimates that the IOC has until late May to decide if the Olympics can go forward as scheduled.
If the answer is no, "you're probably looking at a cancellation," he told AP.
"You just don't postpone something on the size and scale of the Olympics. There's so many moving parts, so many countries ... You can't just say, we'll do it in October."
Worst case scenario: In the unthinkable case of a cancellation, an emergency ~$1 billion reserve fund could cushion the blow for the many international sports federations that rely on the IOC to balance their budgets, per Bloomberg.

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja snares ‘unbelievable’ catch against New Zealand in Christchurch

“I knew that he was going to play that shot; I was ready for that. But I didn’t know that ball was coming with the double pace with the wind,” Jadeja said.
“The ball came too quick, and I just put out my hand and the ball stuck in my hand.
“I didn’t even realise I took that catch.”
New Zealand were eventually dismissed for 235 on Sunday, seven runs short of India’s first innings total.
Glenn Maxwell sorely missed as Australia lose in South Africa

Glenn Maxwell’s stock has risen sharply during this white-ball tour of South Africa, with his absence keenly felt again last night as Australia were rolled for 217, botching a fairly straightforward ODI chase.
At 2-133 in the 27th over, with Steve Smith (76 from 94 balls) and Marnus Labuschagne (41 from 51 balls) well set, Australia were well-positioned to chase 292 against a Proteas attack missing superstar quick Kagiso Rabada.

25 reps: Arizona State punter Michael Turk (son of longtime NFL punter Matt Turk) did 25 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, which was better than all 33 WRs.
