🗞 Sport Journal - Club Mail (thanks)

Hi, Sports fans,

As you may have seen, the updates for the colt will now be in the 'normal mail'; I'll just sort the ongoing payments myself.

A huge thanks for taking the leap, and apologies if I've let anyone down.

I still believe this Club idea, where the group owns racehorses, sponsors athletes, and has group jollies, is a good one. I think it needs 500+ members to have the spending power to get discounts on tickets, etc.

So that'll be the next mission for Sport Journal, to get to 50,000 readers on the regular newsletter. Then hopefully, we'll get the number of members the club needs.

I've refunded everyone's subs for the club through Stripe on a pro-rated basis, thought that was the fairest way. It may take a few days to get to you, and you should have already received a confirmation email from them.

If you don't have the refund, say by this time next week, let me know.

One ask: if you have any mates that would enjoy the regular mail, please share it with them.

Also, if any of you have a business or work at a company that would benefit from sponsoring the Sport Journal, let me know. I'm not looking to make too much profit on it, just for it to wipe its face.

We have a very desirable demographic for a readership, and I'm sure we can work something out.
