⛳️ Presidents Cup
Tiger Woods' US team dominated Sunday's singles as they beat the International team 16-14 in Melbourne to win an eighth successive Presidents Cup.

Woods led by example as he beat Abraham Ancer 3&2 in the first match.
Patrick Reed, whose caddie was banned after "shoving" a spectator on Saturday, beat Taiwan's CT Pan 4&2.
The US won eight of the 12 points with Matt Kuchar sealing victory.
"We did it together," said Woods, who recorded a 27th win in the tournament, beating Phil Mickelson's record of 26. "We came here as a team. My team-mates and my boys all played well, the captains did an amazing job.
"It's been one of the more amazing challenges but all the guys believed in one another and relied on one another."
It is the US' 11th win in the 13th edition of the biennial tournament, with one draw.
"We were right there to the end, just a couple of matches didn't quite go our way," said International captain Ernie Els.
"We're getting closer. We've just got to keep it up."

What the NRL could learn from NFL & NHL
Ben Everill has outlined a number of things that the NRL could learn from American sports, including;
NHL-style Sin Bin - Players are put in a penalty box for 2 or 5 mins until their time is up or their team concedes.
One I can definitely get onboard with is - Tailgating... which is a fancy word for a party in the car park. Fans arrive well in advance of the game but don't enter the stadium, instead invading the precinct with portable barbecues, family games and even televisions.
Other ideas are player injury reports, fewer games, divisions and video reviews (NRL.com)

Aussie swimmer Shayna Jack offers bizarre ‘kiss cocaine’ defence

Disgraced Australian swimmer Shayna Jack is relying on a “kiss cocaine case” to prove her innocence, claiming she unknowingly came in contact with a banned substance.
Jack was notified she would receive a four-year suspension unless she could prove her innocence, an experience she found “traumatic”.
The 21-year-old never denied that the drug was found in her system, but rather questioned how it got there.
“There was a case in the past called the kiss cocaine case … someone had taken cocaine and the partner who was an athlete kissed that person and they were contaminated,” Jack said.
“I was being told that anything I come in contact with, within that period, could have been a risk of the contamination.”
