🏉 The Titans secured their second victory of the season by defeating the Cowboys 20-18. Late in the match, Gold Coast lost Kieran Foran, AJ Brimson, Harley Smith-Shields, and Phillip Sami to various injuries, but the reshuffled Titans lineup managed to hold off the Cowboys' attempts to snatch the win.

🏉 In Jared Waerea-Hargreaves' 300th club match, the Roosters showcased their attacking prowess with a commanding 38-18 victory over the Warriors. Sam Walker and Luke Keary's exceptional kicking game, combined with Angus Crichton's stellar performance, contributed to the Roosters' third consecutive win at Allianz Stadium.

🇦🇺 Collingwood made four changes, revealing a deeper squad as fresh faces contributed to a commanding 66-point win over West Coast at Marvel Stadium.

Despite a 0-3 start, McRae’s side surged into the top eight, undefeated since Easter Thursday. With a final score of 15.13 (103) to 5.7 (37), they’ve reasserted themselves as premiership contenders.

🇦🇺 Despite an impressive final quarter effort led by Jordan Dawson, Adelaide and Brisbane couldn't break the deadlock, ending in a dramatic tie.

The Crows rallied from an 18-point deficit to tie with the Lions, resulting in a final score of 13.12 (90) to 13.12 (90). It marked only the third draw in Adelaide's history and the first for the Lions since 2009.

⚽️ Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix have it all to play for after a cagey 0-0 draw in the first leg of their A-League Men semi-final at AAMI Park. The return leg is to be played in New Zealand on Saturday 18 May.

🥊 Vasiliy Lomachenko outclassed George Kambosos Jr. on his way to the IBF world lightweight title after a clinical performance in the main event at RAC Arena.

🏉 Luke Keary's case to don the No.7 jersey for New South Wales has been backed by head coach Trent Robinson, with Penrith star Nathan Cleary ruled out of the 2024 State of Origin series with a hamstring injury.

Keary has made only one appearance for the Blues, but is in strong form for the Chooks and was instrumental in the side's win over the Warriors in round 10.

Cooper Cronk believes the Panthers are taking a “very, very cautious” approach with the management of star halfback Nathan Cleary after the club announced he’ll miss eight weeks with a Grade 2 hamstring tear.

🥊 Featuring as the main event in the Brisbane Boxing Showcase, staged by his own promotion company, Tevita Pangai was flattened by Kenny Niko in just over one minute.

Niko had lost all three of his only professional fights before his win on Saturday.

It is a devastating blow for the former NSW State of Origin enforcer, who was this week given the cold shoulder by the Melbourne Storm.

Despite earlier this month saying he intended to make an NRL return his top priority, Pangai Junior has not ruled out having another go in the ring.

“That’s the heavyweight division, it only takes one punch,” Pangai Junior said.

🥊 Australia’s Andrew Moloney, through tears, blasted the corruption existing throughout boxing – and then sensationally retired from the sport – after declaring that “an envelope pushed under the table” was behind his shock world title loss in Perth.

📺 As the Australian Men's Test Cricket Team embarks on their 2023 UK tour, intensity escalates at Lord’s, turning the series into an all-out sporting battle. Under Pat Cummins' leadership, the team aims to secure victory in the Ashes and create their legacy.

Streaming on Prime Video from 24 May 2024.

🏀 Josh Giddey’s NBA playoff form is heading in the wrong direction.

The 21-year-old continues to hold down a spot in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s starting unit, but that is being seriously questioned by a number of observers.

In Sunday’s (AEST) game three, he managed nine points, two boards and a lone assist, in 13 minutes of court time as the Thunder suffered a 105-101 loss that gives the fifth-seeded Mavericks a 2-1 edge in the series.
