🇦🇺 Richmond's Shai Bolton has been reprimanded by his coach and a number of his senior teammates after a mid-match taunt aimed at Carlton's Sam Docherty.

Bolton kicked two goals in the Tigers' 11. 15. (81) to 9. 12. (66) win over the Blues at the MCG, and it was the second of his two majors that landed him in hot water with his team.

Tempers flared at the end of the third quarter with players from both sides involved in a fracas on the siren, with Bolton and Docherty going at it.

🏎 Formula 1 has struck a new contract to race at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne until 2035.

The deal is a 10-year extension on the existing contract, which had been due to expire in 2025.

It will extend the race's stay on the calendar to nearly 40 years.

Formula 2 and Formula 3 will also join the Melbourne undercard from next season for the first time in the event’s history.

Melbourne faced opposition from rival bids, including Sydney, but won out because of the commercial deal on offer and its status as an established successful event.

🎾 Nick Kyrgios beat world number six Stefanos Tsitsipas at the Halle Open - smashing his racquet and arguing with the umpire during the match.

The Australian, ranked 65th, came back to beat Greek Tsitsipas 5-7 6-2 6-4.

Royal Ascot: Two horses owned by the Queen were second for Frankie Dettori - who was also third on Stradivarius to winner Kyprios in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.

In her Platinum Jubilee Year, the Queen's odds-on favourite Reach For The Moon was beaten by Claymore in the Hampton Court Stakes.

Dettori was also a runner-up on Saga, as Thesis won the Britannia Stakes.

And he had a nightmare passage as Stradivarius was denied a record-equalling fourth Gold Cup.

The 2.25 favourite Kyprios, ridden by Ryan Moore for trainer Aidan O'Brien, prevailed from Mojo Star, with Stradivarius third in a thrilling tactical battle.

Stradivarius went widest of all under Dettori and closed late on but could not catch the victor.
