Firstly, welcome to the Club!

This Club has enormous potential but is still a work in progress, so I appreciate your patience.

The more members, the more we can do, I think we need about 100 people to really get it going. Currently, we have 35.

Some people might say $10 is nothing but I take the fact that you have parted with some of your hard-earned cash seriously and want to bring you the most value possible.

Referrals: I plan to set up a digital referral program on the newsletter and membership sides of Sport Journal. If you can get mates to sign up (say 10), you'll get yours for free.

for now, if you do get friends to sign up, let me know in an email to [email protected], and I'll start a list.

Going forward

I plan to send a brief member-only email each Thursday morning.

It'll have updates on the horse (when we have them), and some tickets for the weekend sport as outlined below. This will build as we grow the membership.

Below is the first video update on our Toronado Colt, with great insight from Liam.

He's a young, ambitious trainer keen to get as many people involved in the game as possible with new ideas on horse ownership, which is excellent news for us.

🤔 Some ideas

With $5 going towards share in horses, I plan to put some of the remaining membership towards entertainment and a chance to build the overall pot.

Below are a couple of ideas:

Colossusbets Syndicates: Syndicates going for the world's biggest jackpots.

They no longer accept Australian accounts - otherwise, we would set up a Sport Journal syndicate.

It's primary Football with some Racing and American sports (when in season)

Syndicates can club together to predict results and go for jackpots up to £10m.

I have an account and have been a part of it from the start. I've had nice wins - $7.5k from my own solo ticket, and at the beginning of this month, a share of $80k.

More recently, I have taken the research out-of-it by joining a professional punter who has won multiple jackpots. I chip in $10 and follow it from there.

We could throw in a small amount like $10/20 and get some entertainment over the weekend, with a chance of adding some decent funds into the club pot.

⛳️ Golf: is a sport where's there's value to be had. I have a system that has proved fruitful over the last five years.

When the European Tour returns, we could do a small (four-player doubles) across PGA & European Tour; again this gives us interest over the week.

A couple of (21.0) winners could be a useful couple of thousand for the pot. There are also big pots available with platforms like Draft Kings that we could go for.

I think I mentioned him in the mail last week: I'm on Jon Rahm and Patrick Cantley if you want to cheer someone on at the Memorial.

Acca's: Obviously, there are accumulators on each sport that we could perhaps look at. (3 first try scorers/goalscorers etc.).

With these punts, we're looking for a balance between value (fun) and potential profit. We're looking for the big jackpot payouts.

Lastly, we're in this together; I want to bring as much value to the group as possible. If you have ideas or contacts you think would help us, please do not hesitate to reply to this and let me know. I can't guarantee we'll do everything suggested, but I'm open to any idea.
