🗞 He will be "out indefinitely"

G'day sports fans,

Classic quote: "I think everybody gets caught up in superstitions. But I don't put much stock in them...knock on wood." - Jason Akermanis, Brisbane

In today's edition of Sport Journal:

🗣 Tell us what you think

🇦🇺 Wild opening round

🏀 Out indefinitely

📝 Please answer our survey

Before we get into today's edition.

We would love for you answer our super-quick survey. (30 seconds).

We have been approached a number of times to advertise companies who want to pay us, to place their ads in Sport Journal.

Up until now, we have enjoyed being ad-free and independent, to produce sport journal how we see fit.

But, as I've mentioned before, these mails don't write themselves. I promised my wife some time ago, this will be my last "stupid boy project", (her words).

I thought it would be best to ask you, the reader, what you thought was the best way forward;

  • Accept advertisements in the mails?

  • Build the membership community? (at the moment we have some members but we would need a lot more to make it sustainable).

  • Something in-between? (we're open to suggestions).

We'll thrown in some prizes for those that answer the survey. Each person that enters will go into a draw to win Sport Journal merch and State of Origin tickets

Don't forget to hit "Submit" after answering.
