Spurs midfielder Eric Dier came off the field and into the crowd where he got into an altercation with fans of his own club, following their defeat in the FA Cup.

Why would he need a fake passport? Well, Ronaldinho had his passport confiscated by the Brazilian government in November 2018 for building a sugar mill with a fishing platform and a pier on Lake Guaíba without permission.

After failing to pay the $2.3m ordered by the government, he had his passport confiscated.

At least eight footballers die in Guinea bus crash

A bus crash has killed at least eight players from Guinean second division side Etoile de Guinee, with a further 17 injured.

The accident happened just outside the city of Mamou, some 250 kilometres east of the capital Conakry where Etoile are based.

The team were on their way to play in the city of Kankan, a further 400km east of Mammou, in what was meant to be the first match of the league season.

Details of the accident have yet to emerge but reports say that those in a serious condition are being evacuated to Conakry. (BBC)

AFL experts give their 2020 Brownlow Medal tips. There was no love for Nat Fyfe

The race for the 2020 Brownlow Medal is far from clear-cut, with Fox Footy experts split as to who’ll take out the AFL’s highest honour.

But there was no love for last year’s winner, even though he appears to be at the top of his game.

Fifteen ex-AFL players were asked by foxfooty.com.au on Monday night for their Brownlow prediction — and none of them picked Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe to claim the medal. (Fox)

In the past five years, the eventual premiers have always had over 2000 NRL games worth of experience when they have lined up for the grand final - and that is from only 17 men.

That is to be expected of the Roosters and Storm, who have built consistent rosters with experience in key positions.

But even the Cowboys and Sharks, premiers in 2015 and 2016, had 2,082 and 2,783 matches of NRL experience to their names in the decider.

They have the biggest junior rugby league nursery in the world but could Penrith’s focus on churning out young talent be holding them back from premiership success?

In fact, 21 players from their Top 30 squad called Penrith home during their junior footballing careers.

The Panthers head into the 2020 season with a Top 30 squad boasting just 1,409 NRL matches - an average of 47 per player. (Fox)

Meg Lanning made an unbeaten 49 as Australia posted a total of 134. That was revised down after rain to 98 off 13 overs, but despite resistance from Laura Wolvaardt, who made 41* off 27 balls, Australia will face India in the final.

India advanced against England without a ball being bowled after rain washed the match out. Hours into a Sydney deluge showing no signs of relenting, England was delivered the news. No balls would be bowled. No play would be rescheduled. Its T20 World Cup was over. (Fox)

Sunwolves v Brumbies: Last match: Brumbies 42, Sunwolves 19 (2019) This match has been rescheduled to Wollongong. After taking out the Rebels in round one, the Sunwolves have been thumped in their last 3 and will need a big turnaround to challenge the Brumbies.

Crusaders v Reds: Last match: Crusaders 22, Reds 22 (2 March 2019) The Crusaders are unbeaten at home in 33 matches and have rung the changes for the Reds clash. The Reds have shown plenty of attacking promise in the early rounds and will no doubt look to test the Crusaders out-wide.

Waratahs v Chiefs: Last match: Chiefs 39, Waratahs 27 (26 May 2019) The Chiefs will be looking to break a 13-year drought on Friday to secure their first win over the Waratahs on Australian soil since 2007. The Waratahs looked poor in their opening three games but impressed last week in dispatching the Lions 29-17 in an ominous sign for the Chiefs.

Rebels v Lions: Last match: Lions 36, Rebels 33 (16 March 2019) Buoyed by a commanding victory over the Highlanders last week, the Rebels will be primed for a chance to make history against the Lions in Melbourne. The Rebels have not tasted victory against the Johannesburg-based Lions.

Rory McIlroy: World number one predicts major victory in 2020

A confident Rory McIlroy says he expects to take his major tally to at least five this year as he prepared for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The world number one from Northern Ireland has not tasted success in the majors since 2014.

"I remember when we had that chat at the end of 2013 I predicted I would win two and I went on to do that," McIlroy told BBC Sport NI.

"So I am predicting I will win at least one."

Who would bet against him. McIlroy currently sits on top of the Arnold Palmer Leaderboard at (-5) though 15.
